Herbert Craymer was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company for one season:from July 1913 to June 1914. That year he shared the small part of Second Yeoman in The Yeomen of the Guard with Albert Kempton.

Craymer later appeared in London in a revue entitled Musical Milestones (Vaudeville, March-June 1915).
