H. R. Sleigh was a tenor chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company from May 1920 to July 1924. Sleigh is best remembered as one of the co-founders (with James Parkinson) of Parkslee Pictures, the company that published the photo postcards of D'Oyly Carte principal artists in the 1920s.
