MATHEMATICS ALUMNA BRENDA GARDUNIA SELECTED FOR FULBRIGHT PROGRAM

Brenda Gardunia, a 1991 graduate in mathematics, secondary education, will travel to Japan as part of the Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program. She currently teaches mathematics at Mountain Cove High School in Boise.

Gardunia was selected from a national pool of more than 2,100 applicants by a panel of educators.

The program allows distinguished primary and secondary school teachers in the United States to travel to Japan for three weeks each to promote intercultural understanding.

The department faculty congratulates Brenda Gardunia and wishes her a wonderful trip!
