THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANYElsie Banks (1917-18) Elsie Banks was a contralto member of the chorus with the D’Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company during the 1917-18 season. Her only known appearance on the London stage was as an extra in Thompson, Wodehouse and Novello’s The Golden Moth, at the Adephi (October 1921 to June 1922). |
