THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

On January 5, 1884, he created the part of Guron in Princess Ida, playing it throughout the run, which ended in October. It was his only engagement with the D'Oyly Carte organization. Little is known about his career before or after the D'Oyly Carte other than that he ran a juvenile opera company in the late 1880s. |
