Matthew Newton (1915-16)

Matthew Newton was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company from July 1915 to February 1916. During the 1930s, a Matt (or Matthew) Newton appeared in the chorus of several London musicals:Clancarty (Winter Garden, 1933), A Waltz Dream (Winter Garden, 1934-35), Maritza (Palace, 1938), and Paprika (His Majesty's, 1938).
