Homework Assignment Sheet 10 (the last!)

Homework for a section is due at the beginning of class two class sessions after the section is discussed in class (to allow discussion after the problems are attempted).

There are answers to odd-numbered problems in the book.

section 5.1:

2, 4, 6, 8 (Maple commands will be provided for 6 and 8, or you can write a computer or calculator program), 10, 12

section 5.2:

2, 4, 6, 8, 10 (Maple or program needed), 12, 22, 24, 28

section 5.3:

9-30 by threes (of course, half of these are odd so you can check them), 32, 38, 48, 50, 52; also section 5.5: 39-51 by threes - I recommend doing more of these.

section 5.4:

2, 6, 8, 12, 16, 22

section 5.5:

54, 56, 58, 62
