Boise is one of the meeting places for the Cascade Topology Seminar . The
39th Cascade Topology Seminar took place in Boise in October 2007.

In the Spring of 2009 we did run the first round of the interdisciplanary seminar of the cryptography and topology group on Group-based Cryptography Spring 09.

Teaching:

In the Fall of 2009 I will be teaching:

Here is the web-page of MATH 515 from Spring 09 Advanced Analysis

Here is a preliminary version of some lecture notes from a past course Introduction to Differential Topology (pdf) or ps. An introduction to Point Set Topology in German language (joint with Michael Heusener).

If you are interested in writing a Master's thesis in the fields of Topology (including Knot Theory) or Algebra, or any other interesting field of Pure Mathematics, please see me in my office! You can also check at the Geometric Topology research website
